Culottes and Long Top with Slit

My love for fashion never ends. I can’t help myself not to look on the latest trends about fashion in the net, online shops, or the styles that are commercialized in any form of social media or being displayed in the malls. I look even on celebrities’ and fashion bloggers’ way of dressing themselves which is more fashionable in my eyes.

For me who can’t wear pants because I usually wear skirt or dress every time I go and everywhere I go. How can I still in line with the new trends and fashion (Because fashion is life. Haha!). How can I be stylish one yet I look like reserved, fine or modest?

It may look strange to others but here it is!

This fashion-industry called “Culottes”, a divided skirt, is now trending. I’ve seen this worn by artist and even most ladies or women in streets.

Penshoppe (Top), Next Jeans (culottes), SM Parisian (heels)

If I’m going to wear this kind of garment, I will become more comfortable because they will not notice the curves of my body, especially my butt whatever actions I’ve made.

Another garment that is suited for me is the kind of top that I find in Penshoppe. It is a long blouse or long tee with slit on both sides. I bought this with a lower price Php 299 (because it was sale that time) but its regular price is Php 499. I excitedly wore this top. I tuck in the front side and just let the backside cover my butt.

I look for another one to buy different colors yet its not available. So I decided to buy long blouses and bring it to the dress repair shop to put slit in both sides so I can wear those with culottes. It look stylish yet modest. What do you think?

So that’s it! I can now really wear culottes and top with slits everywhere I go with our doggie (Maru). I can run comfortably now because of these, unlike before that I just only wear skirt or dress and it is blown by the air (Hehe!) that’s why I am hesitant to run and play with him.

Remember, we can be more fashionable and have our own style in a modest way.
